Apibuzz Wooden Strips for Wax Moth Larvae Treatment

[ Previous Instructions ] 

1. The prevention and control of wax moth should be mainly for prevention. Due to the different climate, flowering period, and bee colony,it is recommended to choose 1-2 colony bees for trial use. After 2-3 days, the bee colony is found to have no abnormal case before applying strips to the whole colony.

2.Before use, you must remove the old or broken honeycomb from the bee colony. Remove wax debrics from the bottom or wall of beehive. Take out additional comb frames. Gather the bees around combs. Each comb should have enough honey. Don't apply the product for halted production of bee colonies until queen bee resumes production. 

[ Dosage ]

Hanging method: Hang the strip in the middle of the beehive.Apply 1 strip per beehive. Increase the number of times of use according to disease severity. Apply it again after 1 month. 

Placement method: Place it in the middle of the bottom of beehive, 1 strip per beehive. Increase the number of times of use according to the disease severity and use it again after 1 month.

Treatment Theory: This product is a bait for wax moth larvae. Wooden strips have special contents.Wax moths larvae feels hard to digest after consumption, and becomes moving slowly. In the end, it starves to death. The product has a sterilization effect on the female wax moth larvae, so that it can not reproduce and achieve the purpose of wax moth treatment. This product is safe for bees' eggs, larvae, pupae and adult bee, and does not affect the production of queen bee and work bee.
